These terms explain the deal between you and DermaCore when you use our software. By downloading, installing or using the app you agree to them. We have kept the language simple.
Your licence to use the software
DermaCore grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the app. Once you have it, the core software is yours to keep and keep running — the licence does not expire.
Some features rely on services we run for you — cloud backup, online booking, the patient portal, multi-device sync and AI tools. Because those services cost money to operate, they require an active paid subscription. If a subscription ends, the software keeps working, but the features that depend on our servers will stop until you resubscribe.
Your data is yours
All clinic, patient and billing data you put into DermaCore belongs to you. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising. You can export it at any time. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
- Use the software lawfully and only for its intended purpose of running a clinic.
- Do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or attempt to break the software or our services.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and your clinic's data secure.
- You are responsible for complying with the medical, privacy and tax laws that apply to your practice.
No warranty
DermaCore is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to make it reliable, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose. The software is a tool to assist your clinic; it does not replace professional medical judgement, and any AI output must always be reviewed and confirmed by a qualified clinician.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, DermaCore is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the software. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold DermaCore harmless from any claims, damages or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the software, your data, or your breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time, at our sole discretion. When we do, we will post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use DermaCore after a change means you accept the updated terms.
